Position Overview:
As a Study Abroad Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in assisting students in making informed decisions about their study abroad options. You will be a key resource for students, parents, and educators, offering expert advice on program selection, application procedures, scholarship opportunities, and cultural integration. Your ability to establish strong relationships, offer personalised guidance, and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders will be critical to the success of our students' study abroad experiences.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of global education systems, universities, and study destinations.
• Detail-oriented and organised approach to managing student records and application materials.
• At least 1 yrs of prior experience in Overseas Counselling for US/ Australia/ Canada/ UK/ Germany/ Italy/ Ireland etc.
• Candidate should have pleasing personality with effective convincing skill.
• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
• Responsible and motivated to give your best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students to understand their academic aspirations, interests, and career goals.
- Provide detailed information about various study abroad programs, universities, and countries, tailoring recommendations to individual student profiles.
- Assist students in preparing and submitting applications, including guidance on required documentation and deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with visa regulations, immigration policies, and academic prerequisites for different countries.
- Collaborate with educational institutions and partners worldwide to stay informed about program updates and offerings.
- Organise workshops, seminars, and information sessions to educate students about study abroad opportunities and cultural adjustments.
- Support students in obtaining necessary travel documents, insurance, and accommodation arrangements.
- Maintain accurate and organised records of student interactions and application progress.
